| Before you start:
If you want to order photocopies from a Swedish library you have
to start your search at a PubMed start page with the address
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?tool=karolinska.
You can reach this page by following a link to PubMed from any of
the Swedish library web sites or by creating your own bookmark to
this particular page. The part of the link that enables PubMed to
see that you wish your orders to be sent to a Swedish library is
"tool=karolinska", so this is mandatory.
Search and order:
- Use PubMed to find references to the articles that you
wish to order.
You can use the Clipboard to collect a list of references and
then order them all at once. More information about the Clipboard
is available through the NLM
PubMed Help Page.
- Select the check boxes to the left of the references
you wish to order. If you don't select any references,
all the references in the list will be sent to the order form!
- Select Order from the drop down menu to the right of
the button Send to.
- Click on Send To. The references to the articles
that you want to order will then be listed on a page that also
contains a drop down menu with the available Swedish Libraries.
If you want to remove a reference you simply have to unmark the
check box to the left of the reference. If you do not know if
you are allowed to order from a specific library, information
about library policies is available through the links at the left
of the page. (The Karolinska Institutet University Library, Göteborg
University Library and Umeå University Library deliver to
all customer categories.)
- Choose a library in the drop down menu and click on
Continue to open a new window that contains an order
form from the library that you have chosen. This will already
contain all the necessary information about the articles. Just
fill in your ordering preferences before you send in the form.
- When you have received the confirmation page you can close the
order window and return to PubMed by using the button To PubMed
on the page "Order Documents from a Swedish Library".
